A classic "mocha-java" inspired blend that is full bodied and smooth with hints of berries and chocolate. This blend is great as espresso and works well in milk based drinks. You may notice seasonal variations in flavour as the best beans from each region are chosen to represent either "mocha" or "java".
Pronounced "bah-ha" after its Mexican component, this easy drinking blend combines a creamy body with an initial sweetness and a long cocoa finish. Excellent in milk-based drinks.
Midnight in Panama
Light enough to drink straight but with enough body to hold up well in milk based drinks. In the cup, a flat white displays flavours of milk chocolate with a hint of fruit.
COLUMBIA SUPREMO CAUCA
Columbia produces classic coffee flavours: deep, clean and well balanced, this coffee makes a great espresso and richly flavoured milk based drinks.
INDIA MONSOON MALABAR
A unique bean that has been exposed to elements during the monsoon season. It results in huge-bodied espresso that pours like jelly and is ultra smooth with caramel flavours. [Tip: This bean is best when allowed to rest for two weeks post-roast. Set your grind a couple of notches finer than normal.]
ETHIOPIA SIDAMO WOMBERTA
Ethiopian coffees are among our favourites for espresso. This coffee from the Sidamo region has been hand sorted twice to ensure only the best beans remain. In the cup it is sweet and clean with notes of strawberries, blueberries, cherries and lemon tart. Excellent as black, espresso or in manual brewing methods.
GUATEMALA SANTA RITA ESTATE
Organic at source, this typica varietal is given a medium roast to enhance is complex, sweet and bright flavours. As espresso it tastes like salted caramel. You will find it regularly in the shop as it's one of our favourites.
SUMATRA SIPANGAN BOLON
This is a high-grade, triple picked coffee with bold flavours of dark cocoa and dried fruit. It displays a big body and is great on its own in milk or as a rich espresso.
PANAMA HARTMAN ESTATE
Panama is one of our favourite origins. This one is shade grown, bird friendly and honey processed. We give it a medium/light roast resulting in a juicy body, candied fruit flavours and a long finish. Excellent black and manually brewed.
PNG WAHGI AA
This is an outstanding single origin roasted to highlight its inherent sweetness. It produces a clean and bright, mid-bodied espresso and a super sweet flat white.
TANZANIA TWEEGA AA
Grown on the slopes of Kilimanjaro, this coffee produces bold flavours of cranberry and cocao. Excellent as a long black and in the aeropress.
BRAZIL FAZENDA SAMAMBAIA
An award winning microlot by farmer Carlos Mosconi creates a clean and bright espresso with notes of berry and a nutty finish.
Try this on your friends and they won't know it’s decaf! Swiss-water processed, this is a great mid-bodied coffee with rich cocoa and dried fruit flavours. Best consumed within 2 weeks and great on day 1 post-roast. It generally requires a finer grind.
